Afghanistan: Another War for Oil and Gas

Well there’s oil and gas aplenty the last great reserves
In Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan that’s what I heard

Oil companies from the US got 75% of the rights

But the problem is they are landlocked countries far out of sight

How to transport this fuel juggernaut out to the ocean

Can’t go through Iran or China and the north is far too Russian

Just leaves Afghanistan and Pakistan down to the sea

A couple of compliant governments are all that they need



Build some bases out there for long term control

Now that the Soviet Union is gone they can be much more bold

It’s not so much about terrorism or democracy

Or women’s rights though that’d be a nice thing to see

It’s about strategic and profitable control

Of energy resources they’ll be needing down the road

The military is the iron fist that protects the invisible hand

It’s the mafia mobster that protects the bosses operation

Reported that US policy elites were having a wet dream

About setting up a military presence in Central Asia

The newly available oil and gas well they just can’t ignore ya

So Unocal gets to build the pipeline

With the help of Cruise missiles Stealth bombers Tomahawks daisy cutters and land mines

And a lot of soldiers who died without any reason

Oil is not the future but to them that’s treason



The Afghanistan people they are thoroughly a dyin’

Far more than they report on TV and omission amounts to lying

And drone attacks on Pakistan in the boarder regions

Creating more terrorism because they are killing civilians

They keep telling me about extremists on the TV

But the insane hunger for oil justifies all the people we make bleed

Unmanned drones remote controlled from Nevada

You can kill and maim civilians and not end up like Douglas Bader



NASA’s chief scientist James Hansen says

There’s already too much CO2 in the air these days

The fossil fuels that are still in the ground

Must stay where they are so stop drilling down

All the money they spent on Iraq and Afghanistan

They could have put into solar power geothermal wind and hydrogen

We need an enema of the elites just flush them out

We need a new revolution without a doubt



Now as a post script I would like to add

The arctic is melting and the oil there can be grabbed

They are rushing to stake their territorial claims

Just like a heroin addict risking death to get a needle in his veins

They don’t see it as a warning just a new opportunity

To give global warming the added help that it needs

Stupid people run this world it cannot be denied
